Orrbec Astra 2 supported in Motioncube
For some time, Motioncube has also supported the older Astra 1 model (see the manufacturer’s website), although it is now marked as “Legacy” and no longer actively developed by the manufacturer. At the same time, they assure that Astra 1 will remain on the market for the foreseeable future. If you plan to use it long-term, you might want to confirm this directly with the manufacturer.

It might be worth considering Astra 2 for your next project, as it’s a newer model with more assured long-term support from the manufacturer.
From our tests, the functionality and integration in Motioncube are currently very similar for both cameras. If we spot any noticeable differences in quality or performance, we will let you know.
